Okay, so this is a bit overdue. Better late than never right? (as if anyone cares)

The cosplay event that was held at SM Cebu guested Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao. It was a fully packed event, and by fully packed I mean by teenage cosplayer and cosplay fanatics creating a somewhat pedophilic buffet. The program itself was held on the foodcourt area down on the basement area of the mall. For future reference, a word to the SM management, what's the use of your 'grand' north wing space if you're just going to cramp every event down on the basement? Cheaper price? Anyways, in order to get inside or near the stage, a person must be one of the first 100 registrants or a person must exchange a P300 single receipt from the SM department store for one ticket. And because I was neither, I had to result to the age old technique - Ninja Sneaking! thanks to the encouragement of my ever faithful girlfriend - codename: DeNelicious.

So there I was outside the metal railings they used for crowd control, I had DeNelicious hold my camera for me and told her to give it to me once I am inside the railings. Every angle of the stage was so crowded it felt like my butt was being touched every 5 seconds. However, after much reconnaisance, I finally found an opening - a small area in between a railing and a cement post. After securing the area for guards, I quickly slid myself through the small opening reminding me of Crispin Glover in Charlie's Angels. And finally I was in. I composed myself, trying to put on that professional look (whatever that is) and acted like I was part of the production team. True enough, no one ever did approached me and asked for any identication. I had DeNelicious hand me my camera and everything else was photo history.

P.S.

Alodia reminded me of a japanese doll we once had at home - porcelain skin and all. She was indeed very pretty and made all my endeavors worth my every while. However, when I was chin-to-chin with her, I expected scents of sweet flowers, but there was none. Her scent remains a mystery to me.
