Validation of My Newest Business Venture

Three months ago I got myself a new business venture as an Independent USANA Distributor and not being new in the network marketing business this is somehow just a review on how it is faring compared to the previous companies I have been with.

Before USANA, I was with with three major network marketing companies namely UNO, VMobile, and Planet Mobile. UNO had a mediocre product line. VMobile just lost its marketability with the introduction of affordable post-paid plans, and Planet Mobile just didn't have any unique product lines and the support from your mentors was just not there. Sad to say, all three ventures didn't produce any results and I became one of those people who got 'negative' with network marketing.

And then USANA came and by far it has been amazing. USANA not only has unique healthcare products but also it's the leading company in cellular nutrition. Just this year, USANA had another breakthrough with InCelligence which activates powerful cell-signaling pathways, which instruct cells to initiate a network of natural protection and renewal processes.

USANA also has a patented marketing plan which all other MLM companies have patterned theirs from but not fully copied. And with an outstanding product line, USANA simply has the best profitable marketing plan in the industry.

Most importantly, USANA provided the best support both from the company itself and from the mentors. USANA has a proven system that is being shared in our weekly training as well as individual coaching sessions with mentors which is very helpful and valuable to those who are new in this industry.

And now we have come to the validation part of this write-up. Having failed in three network marketing businesses before, how has USANA worked for me in the last three months? Let me show you one of my earnings:

So far I have earned P13,178.80 in commissions for the last three months with only 50% effort on my part and the rest is my team's effort. That still does not include the profit I have with my retail sales which also matches that amount. Based on the results that I have so far, I can safely say that USANA had turned me from a 'negative' to a 'positive' in the network marketing industry. One thing I learned is that if you want to venture in a profitable business with exponential returns with zero risks find yourself a good network marketing company and start working on it.

Fifty Shades Trilogy

I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this book and so I emailed a friend of mine for a copy. Fifty Shades of Grey is an erotic novel by British author E. L. James. Set largely in Seattle, it is the first instalment in a trilogy that traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, sadism/masochism. The second and third volumes are titled Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, respectively. To download all three books, just click on the photo below. Enjoy!

ELMER

Per a friend's request, here's a copy of Gerry Alanguilan's ELMER. Unfortunately, I can only find the first issue somewhat a teaser of the complete series (sorry Lornz).

Elmer is a window into an alternate Earth where chickens have suddenly acquired the intelligence and consciousness of humans, where they consider themselves a race no different from whites, browns or blacks, and push to recognize rights for themselves as the newest members of the human race.

Elmer tells the story of a family of chickens who live and struggle to survive in a suddenly complicated, dangerous and yet beautiful world.

Elmer was originally released in four issues from June 2006 to November 2008, and as a trade paperback in October 2009, published by Komikero Publishing.

Elmer will be released in North America and other English speaking countries of the world by SLG Publishing in November 2010.

Trese Book One

Lately I have been catching up on a few Pinoy literature with Ambeth Ocampo, Jessica Zafra, and Bob Ong on my most recent line up. I have also been browsing on some Pinoy graphic novels/comics and one particularly stood out -- TRESE.  Trese was created by writer Budjette Tan and artist Kajo Baldisimo and it tells the story of Alexandra Trese, a detective that deals with crimes of supernatural origin -- much like Buffy meets Sam and Dean Winchester Pinoy style.

Trese has been out in the market for a while now and currently it already has four books in its arsenal. And with a 29th National Book Award for Best Graphic Literature in its belt, Trese proves to be one hell of a read. And when I got to the part of summoning a Santelmo on a cellphone, I was hooked.
