Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki!

It's been a while since my last entry. Last week, I started pumping iron instead of irony for a change and I can't remember the last time I did that. Early college I think. Anyways, speaking of early college years, one of the few anime I followed is now being made into a live action movie! Forget Dragonball, they Kame-Hame-Wave that one to the ground. I'm talking about Samurai X! Yeah! Kenshin Himura and the Hitten Mitsurugi Style baby!

The movie is set to star Mask Rider actor, Takeru Satoh, as the Battōsai slasher Kenshin Himura. The live action movie is said to capture more of the manga version of Rurouni Kenshin than the more familiar cartoon version. If true, then I think I'm gonna be a bit disappointed since we're not gonna see how they'll go about doing the Amakakeru Ryu No Hirameki in live action. However, I believe that they choose to do the movie from the manga for the strength of its story. The manga had more drama and intensity compared to the cartoon version which I think makes a good movie.

The movie is set to release August next year and I'm just glad that Hollywood is not making it.
