An Idea of Help

In line with the recent calamity that left hundreds of people dead and missing in my hometown of Cagayan de Oro and its neighboring city of Iligan, I have an idea of a way we can help our fellow brothers who until now are struggling with their food, water, and shelter. I just want to share this to you and maybe ask for your suggestions and hopefully for your help in its realization.

Since the New Year is coming, I was thinking that maybe we can make a 2012 calendar featuring different shots from different photographers. We can then sell these calendars and have all the proceeds sent to the victims in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan.

We can have a themed calendar such as a sexy shoot like those with Tanduay – a different pose featuring each unique event or celebration in each month (e.g. Xmas, Valentine, Summer, etc.)

We can also maybe do a collage type of calendar showing different styles of photography from different photographers featured in each month. These pictures can be portraits, landscape, etc.

This is all I can think of as of the moment. Please let me know if this is feasible and if there are people who would want to collaborate with this effort.

We might also need a printing press that can help sponsor us with this project.
