Wedding Photos on a Budget

I've been reading a lot of blog forums lately on weddings and I've also talked with a lot of clients basically sharing the same sentiment:

"I'd love a good wedding album, but I just don't have the budget for it" 

This just crushes my heart. As a photographer I know why wedding photography services are quite expensive. There are a lot of cost to consider such as the thousand dollars/pesos worth of equipment and editing labor time to name a few. I don't really have to go into the details because there are already a hundred articles written explaining how and why photography services are priced as such.

Good wedding photos are investments, I truly believe that. Twenty to fifty years from now, it'll be nice to look at them again remembering exactly how it felt like just by looking at those perfectly shot photographs. And I understand how a photographer might pitch on why you should spend P30,000 to P60,000 on photographs and I know some fortunate couple might be able to afford such rates. But for those couple who are getting married on a budget but couldn't afford the usual photographers' fee, don't they also deserve beautiful lasting memories through quality photos?

I believe they do. I believe that everyone deserves that heartwarming feeling twenty to fifty years from now looking at beautiful photographs.
